D-Link UPnP M-SEARCH buffer overflow
| dlink-upnp-bo (27755) |
Description:
Multiple D-Link wireless and wired routers are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) service. By sending an M-SEARCH request with an overly long parameter to UDP port 1900, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the affected device.
