Linux kernel usb/serial/ftdi_sio.c denial of service

linux-ftdi-sio-dos (27807) The risk level is classified as LowLow Risk

Description:

Linux kernel is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper handling of queued data by the ftdi_sio (USB FTDI SIO) driver. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the consumption of all available memory resources by writing an excessive amount of data to the serial port.
