Description:

Geeklog is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the comment.php and lib-comment.php scripts. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of Geeklog (1.4.0sr5 or 1.3.11sr7 or later), available from the Geeklog Web site. See References.
