WinRAR LHA archive buffer overflow
| winrar-lha-bo (27815) |
Description:
WinRAR is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds of file and directory names when processing LHA archives. By creating a malicious LHA archive containing an overly long file or directory name, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, once the malicious LHA file is extracted.
