CheeseTronic Cheese Tracker loader_xm.cpp buffer overflow
| cheesetronic-loaderxm-bo (27957) |
Description:
CheeseTronic Cheese Tracker is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Loader::Error Loader_XM::load_instrument_internal() function in loader_xm.cpp. By creating a malicious XM file and persuading a potential victim to open the file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
