InterActual Player ITIRecorder.MicRecorder buffer overflow
| interactualplayer-recorder-bo (28055) |
Description:
InterActual Player is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the ITIRecorder.MicRecorder ActiveX control in IARECORD.DLL. By creating a malicious Web page that passes an overly long 'Files' method argument, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system by persuading a victim to visit the malicious page.
