Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam DATABLOB-GET and DATABLOB-SAVE file overwrite
| brightmail-datablob-directory-traversal (28058) |
Description:
Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam (SBAS) could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the server, caused by improper validation of filenames. If the Control Center is allowed to connect from any computer, a remote attacker could send a DATABLOB-GET or DATABLOB-SAVE request for a specially-crafted filename to traverse directories and view or overwrite arbitrary files on the system.
