Lhaplus LZH archive extended header buffer overflow
| lhaplus-lzh-header-bo (28102) |
Description:
Lhaplus is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of extended headers in an LZH archive. By creating a malicious LZH archive containing an overly large extended header value, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, if the attacker could persuade a victim to extract the malicious archive.
