| macosx-bootp-bo (28139) |
Description:
Apple Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds by the bootpd daemon. By sending a specially-crafted BOOTP request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with system privileges.
Note: The bootpd daemon is disabled by default in Mac OS X.
