vBulletin multiple vector cross-site scripting
| vbulletin-multiple-vector-xss (28244) |
Description:
vBulletin is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using an unspecified security bypass vulnerability in includes/init.php, reregistering unspecified variables, calling an uninitialized variable in modcp/global.php, using an unspecified issue in includes/adminfunctions.php, or passing an unserialized variable into an array multiple times to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the URL is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
