OpenMPT Load_it.cpp buffer overflow
| openmpt-loadit-bo (28305) |
Description:
OpenMPT is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the CSoundFile::ReadITProject() function in soundlib/Load_it.cpp. By persuading a potential victim to open a specially-crafted ITP file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
