AlsaPlayer reconnect() function buffer overflow
| alsaplayer-reconnect-bo (28306) |
Description:
AlsaPlayer is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the reconnect() function in reader/http/http.c. By sending an HTTP request containing a specially-crafted 'Location' HTTP response header, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
