Description:

myEvent could allow a remote attacker to include arbitrary files. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request to the admin.php script using the 'language' parameter or to the event.php, initialize.php, viewevent.php or myevent.php script using the 'myevent_path' parameter to specify a malicious file from a remote system, which could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable Web server.

  • myWebland, myEvent 1.4 and prior

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of myEvent (1.4 or later), available from the myEvent Web site. See References.
