Description:
HP OpenView Storage Data Protector could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by an input validation error and weak authentication when communicating with the central backup server. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by modifying certain fields used by the proprietary protocol that is used to communicate between the central backup server and the backup agents.
