ASSP get?file URL unauthorized file access
| assp-getfile-url-file-access (28392) |
Description:
ASSP (Anti-Spam SMTP Proxy Server) could allow an authenticated remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to known files, caused by improper validation of the get?file parameter in a URL request. An attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request using the get?file parameter to access any known file on the server or a mapped network drive by supplying the direct path to the targeted file.
