MySQL case sensitive database name privilege escalation
| mysql-case-privilege-escalation (28448) |
Description:
MySQL could allow a remote authenticated attacker to gain unauthorized access to restricted databases, caused by a vulnerability regarding database names. On case-sensitive file systems, a remote authenticated attacker with access to a database could create or gain access to another database with the same name but with a different character case.
