Wireshark (Ethereal) SSCOP dissector denial of service
| wireshark-sscop-dos (28556) |
Description:
Wireshark (formerly known as Ethereal) is vulnerable to a denial of service. If the SSCOP payload protocol is Q.2931 and the SSCOP dissector is configured with a port range, which is not the default setting, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted packet causing the Q.2931 dissector to consume all available memory resources.
