ImageMagick Sun Rasterfile image buffer overflow
| imagemagick-rasterfile-bo (28574) |
Description:
ImageMagick is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the DecodeBitmap() and ReadSUNImage() functions in sun.c. By creating a malicious SunRasterfile image, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, if the attacker could persuade a victim to open the malicious image.
