Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey backslash denial of service

mozilla-backslash-dos (28958) The risk level is classified as LowLow Risk

Description:

Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey are vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper handling of a regular expression ending with a backslash in an unterminated character set. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a victim's browser to crash, if the attacker could persuade the victim to visit a malicious Web site.
