gzip LZH array code execution
| gzip-lzh-array-code-execution (29040) |
Description:
gzip could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system caused by an array index error in the make_table function when decompressing an LZH archive. By creating a specially-crafted LZH archive file, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause a denial of service, if the attacker could convince the victim to open the malicious file.
