Description:

Neon WebMail for Java could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially-crafted 'downloadfile' servlet containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) in the 'savefolder' or 'savefilename' parameter to view arbitrary files on the system.

Upgrade to the latest version of Neon WebMail (version 5.08 or later), available from the Neon WebMail Web site. See References.
