Description:
Apple Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper handling of JPEG2000 image files. By creating a malicious JPEG2000 image file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash, if the attacker could persuade the victim to open the malicious file.
