Description:

XchangeBoard is vulnerable to SQL injection. If the magic_quotes_gpc setting has been disabled, a remote attacker could send specially-crafted SQL statements to the loginNick parameter, which could allow the attacker to view, add, modify or delete information in the back-end database.

  • Xchangeboard, Xchangeboard 1.70 and prior

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version (1.70 fertig or later), available from the XchangeBoard Web site. See References.
