Description:
Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Symantec Client Security could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by a vulnerability in the SAVRT.SYS device driver. A local attacker could exploit a vulnerability in the DeviceIOControl() function to overwrite kernel memory and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the system to crash.
