wvWare LFO and LVL count integer overflow

wvware-lfo-lvl-overflow (29833) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

The wvWare LFO and LVL counters are vulnerable to an integer overflow in the wvGetLFO_records and wvGetLFO_PLF functions, caused by improper handling of data from a malformed Word document. If a remote attacker could persuade a victim to open a specially-crafted Microsoft Word document with an application that utilizes the WV library, the attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the victim's system.
