Description:
Microsoft Windows is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the Workstation service, caused by improper bounds checking by the NetpManageIPCConnect function. By sending a specially-crafted message to an affected system, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with SYSTEM privileges.
