LibX11 Xinput module information disclosure
| libx11-xinput-information-disclosure (29956) |
Description:
LibX11 could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a file descriptor leak in the Xinput module. An attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request to the modules/im/ximcp/imLcIm.c module using an invalid XCOMPOSEFILE variable to view various files on the system. An attacker could use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.
