Description:
ELOG could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by a format string vulnerability in the el_submit() function in elogd.c when handling attachments. By sending a specially-crafted attachment filename, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands on the vulnerable system or cause the application to crash.
