ProFTPD sreplace() buffer overflow
| proftpd-sreplace-bo (30147) |
Description:
ProFTPD is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the sreplace function. By sending a specially-crafted request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the server to crash.
