Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server IMA Management buffer overflow
| citrix-ima-management-bo (30148) |
Description:
Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the IMA_SECURE_DecryptData1() function in the Independent Management Architecture (IMA) component. By sending a specially-crafted packet to the IMA service, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the IMA server process or cause the service to terminate.
