Linux kernel ext2 filesystem denial of service

kernel-ext2-filesystem-dos (30201) The risk level is classified as LowLow Risk

Description:

Linux kernel is vulnerable to a denial of service caused by improper handling of corrupted data structures in the ext2 filesystem. A local attacker could create a malicious ext2 filesystem to cause the system to crash once a read operation on an fs stream is performed.
