helm-domainsusersdefaault-xss (30309) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

Helm WebHosting Control Panel is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability in the domains.asp script using the txtDomainName parameter, the users.asp script using the txtCompanyName, txtUserAccNum or txtEmail parameter or the default.asp script using the setThemeColour parameter in a specially-crafted URL to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the URL is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Note: Successful exploitation requires that the attacker be validated on the user, reseller, or administrator level.
