Apache mod_auth_kerb off-by-one buffer overflow
| apache-modauthkerb-offbyone-bo (30456) |
Description:
The mod_auth_kerb module for Apache is vulnerable to an off-by-one buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the der_get_oid() function in spnegokrb5/der_get.c. By sending a specially-crafted Kerberos message, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the server to crash.
