Description:

Crystal Reports is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the RPT process. By sending a malicious .RPT file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system when the file is viewed.

Note: This vulnerability also affects Crystal Reports for Microsoft Visual Studio.
