| atomixmp3-plsm3u-bo (30633) |
Description:
AtomixMP3 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking. By creating a malicious PLS or M3U playlist file containing an overly long filename and persuading a victim to open the file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hosting the malicious file on a Web site or sending it as an email attachment.
