Description:
Newtone ImageKit ActiveX controls are vulnerable to multiple buffer overflows. A remote attacker could exploit theses vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code on a victim's system or cause a victim's browser to crash, if the attacker could persuade the victim to visit a malicious Web page or open a malicious HTML email.
Note: Casio Photo Loader software, which uses an affected version of the ImageKit ActiveX controls, is also affected by this vulnerability.

Remedy:
For ImageKit version 5:
Upgrade to the latest version of ImageKit (version 5 Fix 30 or later), available from the ImageKit.com Web site. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of ImageKit (version 6 Fix 41 or later), available from the ImageKit.com Web site. See References.
For Photo Loader:
Upgrade to the latest version of Photo Loader (version 3.01 or later), available from the CASIO WORLDWIDE Web site. See References.
