Citrix Presentation Server ICA Client ActiveX buffer overflow

citrix-wfica-bo (30740) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

Citrix Presentation Server Client for Windows is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow in the ICA Client Active X control (WFICA.OCX), caused by improper bounds checking by the SendChannelData() method. By creating a malicious Web page that passes a specially-crafted "DataSize", "DataType", and "Data" parameter to the vulnerable method, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, if the attacker could persuade the victim to visit the page.
