Description:
Linux kernel is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the cmtp_recv_interopmsg() function in net/bluetooth/cmtp/capi.c. By sending malformed CAPI packets, a remote attacker could overflow buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the server to crash.
