ICONICS Dialog Wrapper Module ActiveX control buffer overflow
| dialogwrapper-activex-bo (31228) |
Description:
The ICONICS Dialog Wrapper Module ActiveX control is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the DoModal() method. By sending an overly long string as a FileName or Filter argument, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the victim's browser to crash, if the attacker could persuade the victim to view a malicious Web page or HTML email.
