Adobe Acrobat Reader Plugin # character denial of service

Description:
The Adobe Acrobat Reader Plugin is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. By creating a specially-crafted URL to a PDF file appended with multiple "#" characters, a remote attacker could cause the browser to crash, if the attacker could persuade the victim to click the malicious URL.
Note: This vulnerability only affects users running Internet Explorer.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader Plugin (8.0.0 or later), available from the Adobe Acrobat Reader Plugin Web site. See References.
