OpenBSD VGA graphics driver for wscons privilege escalation
| openbsd-vga-privilege-escalation (31276) |
Description:
OpenBSD could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges, caused by the improper validation in the VGA graphics driver for wscons. If the kernel contains the PCIAGP option and the device is not compatible with AGP, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain root privileges on the vulnerable system.
