Oracle Notification Service (ONS) TCP packet buffer overflow
| oracle-ons-tcp-bo (31580) |
Description:
The Oracle Notification Service (ONS), which runs by default on multiple Oracle products, is vulnerable to a buffer overflow. By sending a specially-crafted TCP packet to port 6200 on an affected system, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the service to crash.
