Description:
Blue Coat WinProxy is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking. By sending an overly long HTTP connect request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the device to crash.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Blue Coat WinProxy (6.1r1c or later), available from the Blue Coat WinProxy Web site. See References.
