Description:
SmartFTP is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of banner replies. By persuading a user to connect to a malicious FTP server that sends an overly long banner reply, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
