Description:

Samba is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an infinite loop condition that can occur in smbd when files are renamed in a certain way. A remote authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to prevent the removal of requests from the deferred open queue, which would consume all available CPU and memory resources.
