Adobe Macromedia JRun administrator console cross-site scripting
| jrun-administrator-console-xss (32475) |
Description:
Adobe JRun is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the administrator console. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially-crafted URL to the administrative console to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the URL is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
NOTE: ColdFusion MX 7.0 Enterprise Edition is vulnerable to this exploit if installed as the "Multi-Server" option. ColdFusion MX 6.1 Enterprise is vulnerable to this exploit if installed on JRun 4.0 with the "J2EE" option.
