Description:
Total Video Player is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of M3U playlist files. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted M3U file containing an overly long file name, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, if the attacker could persuade the victim to open the malicious playlist.
