Mozilla Firefox location.hostname property security bypass
| firefox-locationhostname-security-bypass (32533) |
Description:
Mozilla Firefox could allow a remote attacker to bypass the cross-domain security module, caused by an error in the location.hostname DOM property. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using NULL termination characters (\x00) in a specially-crafted URL to bypass security zone restrictions and modify cookies, if the attacker could persuade the victim to visit the malicious site.
