WordPress wp-admin/post.php cross-site request forgery
| wordpress-post-csrf (32703) |
Description:
WordPress is vulnerable to a cross-site request forgery, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the wp-admin/post.php script. If "action" is set to "delete", a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted HTTP request using the post parameter to cause the administrator to perform arbitrary tasks, once the administrator views the malicious request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to perform cross-site scripting attacks, Web cache poisoning and other malicious activities.
