Winmsdp.exe sample application for IIS/SiteServer allows remote access to files

Description:
The Winmsdp.exe sample program shipped with Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server) and SiteServer can be remotely exploited to read arbitrary files on vulnerable servers. This executable file is one of several exploitable sample files distributed with these servers.

- Microsoft, Windows NT 4.0
Remedy:
Remove all sample code, example applications, tutorials, documentation, and files from production Web servers. As a rule, sample code, sample applications, sample documentation, and sample files should not be installed on production Web servers.
